OUR STORY

Welcome to L-Bo, a small business run by myself, Lee Boehm. Our aim is to design and manufacture beautiful pieces of furniture, concentrating on handrails to bring a tactile piece of furniture to the neglected area of our homes, that we use daily.

It all started back in 2013 when my wife and I wanted a nicer handrail but all we could find was the standard round/square ones or a bespoke option for a higher cost. So I decided to design and make our own using my CAD skills as a designer then have it CNC cut. Over the following years, I started to develop my furniture making skills by taking courses and producing more and more pieces of furniture. Eventually, I wanted to improve on my first handrail and so the signature handrail was designed, which led me to think this could be a viable business.

Therefore, in 2020, we started to build this business but unfortunately, as we are all aware this turned out not to be the best time to start! However, we persevered with developing the business in the background and now in 2023, we are starting to push forward and bring the bespoke feel furniture to a wider audience.
